Gamers looking to stretch their budget have plenty to celebrate today. IGN’s daily deals roundup for September 23 is packed with standout discounts across storage upgrades, digital currency, and fan-favorite games. Whether you’re battling a full PS5 hard drive or hunting for your next cozy adventure, today’s offers cover a wide range of gaming needs.
PS5 SSD Deals: Finally Fix Your Storage Woes
If your PlayStation 5 has been flashing the dreaded “storage full” warning, today’s deals are tailor-made for you. SSDs compatible with the PS5’s expansion slot are among the headline offers, giving players a chance to add much-needed space for increasingly chunky modern game installs.
With major releases routinely demanding 100 GB or more, an internal NVMe SSD upgrade has become almost essential for anyone with a growing digital library. IGN highlights multiple discounted options in today’s roundup, making this one of the better windows in recent memory to invest in extra capacity. For players who prefer physical editions to manage storage more easily, today’s Switch game deals offer an alternative path.
Xbox and Nintendo Gift Cards on Sale
One of the smartest ways to save in gaming is buying digital currency at a discount, and today’s deals include price cuts on both Xbox and Nintendo gift cards. This is essentially free money for anyone who regularly purchases games digitally.
Why Discounted Gift Cards Are a Stealth Deal
Savvy shoppers know that stacking a discounted gift card with an existing storefront sale effectively compounds your savings. Load up while the price is low, then deploy those funds during the next big digital sale on the Xbox Store or Nintendo eShop. It’s a strategy that works year-round, but only when retailers actually slash gift card prices, which makes today’s offer worth acting on.
For those who missed today’s window, TURGAME.com offers Xbox and Nintendo gift cards at competitive prices every day, along with instant digital delivery, so you can top up your wallet whenever a sale goes live.
LEGO Star Wars Gets a Price Cut
Rounding out today’s headline deals is a discount on LEGO Star Wars, one of the most family-friendly and charming action-adventure games in recent years. The Skywalker Saga delivered a massive amount of content across all nine mainline films, and a lower price makes it an easy recommendation for Star Wars fans, families, or anyone who missed it at launch.
More Deals: Gaming PCs and Physical Switch Games
Beyond the headline offers, IGN’s roundup also features discounts on prebuilt gaming PCs and physical Nintendo Switch games. The PC deals are particularly relevant for anyone considering an upgrade before this fall’s biggest releases, while physical Switch games remain attractive to collectors and anyone who wants to trade or resell titles later.
The Case for Physical Switch Games in 2026
With the Switch’s successor now on the market, physical Switch game prices have been fluctuating as retailers clear shelf space. That volatility creates genuine opportunities for bargain hunters, especially on first-party Nintendo titles that historically hold their value. Snapping up physical copies now, while discounts appear, could pay off for completionists building a library for the long haul.
Our Take
Today’s deal selection stands out because it addresses three distinct gamer needs: infrastructure (SSDs and PCs), spending power (gift cards), and entertainment (LEGO Star Wars and Switch games). The gift card discounts are arguably the sleeper pick of the bunch, since unlike a single game purchase, they unlock savings across your entire future digital library. As always with daily deals, prices can shift quickly, so anyone eyeing these offers should move sooner rather than later.
