If you have been waiting for the right moment to upgrade your gaming setup, today might be it. IGN’s daily deals roundup for September 5, 2026 features some genuinely tempting offers, headlined by Nintendo Switch 2 console deals alongside discounts on standout titles like Granblue Fantasy: Relink and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. Here is a closer look at what caught our eye and why these deals are worth your attention.
Nintendo Switch 2 Consoles Lead Today’s Offers
The biggest news for many shoppers will be the Nintendo Switch 2 appearing in today’s deal highlights. Nintendo’s successor to the original Switch has been in high demand since launch, and meaningful discounts on the hardware have been few and far between. Any price drop or bundle opportunity on the Switch 2 is a rare event, so bargain hunters who have been holding out should pay close attention to today’s pricing.
Why Switch 2 Hardware Deals Are So Rare
Nintendo has historically kept its console pricing stable for years, and the Switch 2 is following that pattern. With the system’s library continuing to expand and demand regularly outpacing supply during restocks, retailers rarely need to sweeten the pot. That makes today’s deal noteworthy, whether you are buying your first unit or picking up a second console for the household.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink at a Discount
Also featured in today’s roundup is Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Cygames’ stylish action RPG set in the beloved Granblue universe. The game earned praise for its gorgeous visuals, accessible yet deep combat, and generous co-op mode that lets up to four players team up online. If you missed it at launch, a discount is the perfect excuse to finally see why the sky realm of the Zegagrande Skydom has such a devoted fanbase.
A Great Entry Point for Action RPG Fans
Relink sits in a sweet spot between character-action games and more traditional RPGs. Party-based mechanics, skyfaring exploration, and a roster of fan-favorite characters make it an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys titles like Monster Hunter or Persona 5 Strikers. At a reduced price, it is one of the easiest purchases on today’s list.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Joins the Sale
Tacticians, rejoice: Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is also among today’s highlighted deals. Nintendo’s tactical RPG franchise remains one of the most consistently excellent series in gaming, blending grid-based strategy with memorable characters and branching narratives. A discount on a recent Fire Emblem release is not something that comes around often, so series veterans and newcomers alike should take advantage while the offer lasts.
More Deals Worth Browsing
Beyond the headline items, IGN’s full roundup includes additional game and accessory offers across multiple platforms. Daily deal roundups like this tend to be time-sensitive, with stock and pricing shifting quickly, so it is worth checking the complete list before anything sells out.
Stretch Your Gaming Budget Further
While physical hardware deals grab headlines, digital shoppers can save money year-round too. Platforms like TURGAME.com offer discounted game keys and digital gift cards for the Nintendo eShop, Steam, PlayStation Store, and Xbox, making it easy to top up your wallet and grab new releases like the ones above without paying full price. Pairing today’s hardware deal with a discounted eShop card is a smart way to build out your Switch 2 library on a budget.
Deal roundups change daily, so if nothing on today’s list fits your wishlist, keep an eye out, tomorrow’s batch could bring exactly what you are looking for.
